About Me
Hello! My name is Brittany Argall, and I am looking forward to an exciting year in 8th grade!
I have spent the last 6 years teaching math and science, with the majority of that time being spent in 8th grade math in Pitt and Wilson counties. I was born in Pittsburgh, PA and lived there until I was 10 when my family moved to York, Pennsylvania. I graduated from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania, I love the Pitt Panthers, Pittsburgh Pirates, Penguins, and Steelers, and participating in productions with Playhouse of Wilson and the Arts Council of Wilson. I am a fortunate member of the 2015-2016 cohort of the Kenan Fellows Program, and I am looking forward to continuing to implement citizen science in our classroom through museum and NC State connections. Through this program, we will all be working as and with scientists to help them in making scientific discoveries. This year I will be taking part in the Educators of Excellence program through the NC Museum of Natural Sciences and will be venturing to Belize as a part of their Tropical Ecology Institute. I am excited for this opportunity to learn and grow as an educator and to bring my new experiences back to Centennial. |
